Leading technologies in photonics
Vadeno Netherland, distributor of optical- and mechanical components, Optical & mechanical components, motion control, lasers, photodiodes, cameras and high-quality cameras produced by Qioptiq -Linos Photonics, miCos, Kappa, Pegasus Lasersysteme and Advanced Photonix was founded in 2005.
Ruud van der Noord general manager of Vadeno Netherland, was responsible for this product-group in the years that Linos and miCos were represented by Radiometer. When Radiometer decided to focus exclusively on the medical market, a spin off with the 'industrial' brands was created.
Distributor of renowned brands
Linos, miCos, Kappa, Advanced Photonix Inc. (API), Pegasus
Per 2006 VADENO NETHERLANDS is distributor for the brands Linos and miCos for the Benelux. Linos and miCos develop and manufacture optical- and opto-mechanical components. These companies are located in Germany.
Since 2007 the program expanded to include products from Advanced Photonix INC. ® (ASE: API).
API is one of the leaders in the field of opto-electronic photo detectors, subsystems and systems for telecommunications networks, medical diagnostics, military sensors, industrial quality control and safety checks to such baggage scanning. API has two manufacturing sites in the United States, Ann Arbor (Michigan) and in Camarillo (California).
Kappa Opto-electronics was added in 2008 to our program. Kappa is one of the few camera manufacturers that can boast extensive experience in the development and manufacture of very robust camera with above average image quality. Kappa is located in Gleichen, Germany.
In September 2009 Vadeno has agreed with Pegasus Laser Systems to distribute their lasers. Vadeno is now the exclusive distributor of lasers of Pegasus in the Benelux. Pegagus Laser Systems manufactures diode lasers and solid state lasers for use as laser line or point in laser alignment, positioning, imaging and many other applications. Pegasus Lasersyteme is also located in Germany (Wallenhorst). These suppliers we offer a very broad program and we will announce proudly: "Made in Germany"

nanoplus started 2010 with exciting technology inventions: we are proud to present the new CENTURION series featuring 852 nm, 894nm and 1064nm
DFB lasers with emission linewidth below 1 MHz and up to 100 mW of output power. For further information, please download the datasheet of our CENTURION The new high definition color camera „Tauri-HD 02150 SDI“ from Kappa delivers brilliant images in the 16:9 format. A Kodak 2/3" CCD, 14-bit signal processing and 64 dB dynamic range constitute the technical basis for uncompressed images in real time that meet highest standards. The new Kappa handbook shows you our way of working. We combine our competency in industrial production with the ability to understand specific application contexts, allowing us to work together with the client to develop a camera solution, and to produce it reliably, efficiently, and with quality assured – be it for 20 or 2000 at a time.
MiniRam™ is completely field-portable with battery operation and an integrated handtop PC. Designed for mobile applications where both portability and high performance are required. Ideal for incoming QC for raw material identification/verification and field-based forensic analysis. “BWIQ™, paired with the enhancements to the i-Raman®, represents the next step in B&W Tek’s strategy to enhance our leadership position in integrated solutions including high resolution portable Raman instruments,” says Dr. Mike Kayat, VP of Sales & Marketing for B&W Tek, Inc. “By coupling new and transitional chemometric methods with cutting edge computer science technology, such as sparse linear algebra algorithms, BWIQ™ represents the next generation in speed, accuracy, and performance.”
The BWIQ™ package is available as an option with new Raman systems or separately for existing B&W Tek customers.
For more information on the i-Raman® high resolution TE cooled Raman spectrometer and BWIQ™ chemometric software package, visit www.bwtek.com/iraman/ B&W Tek shows NanoRam™ This year at Pittcon, B&W Tek has demonstrated their newest product, the NanoRam™, the most sensitive and repeatable handheld spectrometer ever designed to identify non-conforming materials before they reach production.
Kappa optronics GmbH has created a new camera bundel for the Pathology.
Suitable for any microscope, the Tauri-HD delivers highly detailed images of specimens. The camera delivers convenient monitoring without requiring a PC.
